Evelyn M. Taylor Polilli, 84, of Dover, died peacefully, March 28, 2005.
Over the years she held a variety of positions with the Hello Shop, House of Stones and was even a tour guide at Zoar village.
Born March 3, 1921 at New Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late, Luke A. & Tracy E. Grosjean Overton.
Evelyn was a graduate of New Philadelphia High School. She always put her family first and especially loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also looked forward to the family trips and vacations in Canada.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Richard Carl Taylor and Otto D. Polilli, Sr.
Survivors include: two sons, Tom Taylor and Richard “Tank” (Barb) Taylor both of Dover; two grandchildren, Keith Taylor and Steffanie Taylor; and a step-grandson, William Petersheim.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Evelyn was preceded in death by: two brothers, Luke & Harry Overton; and two sisters, Lucille Fisher and Arlene Gilmore.
A public graveside ceremony will be conducted Thursday, March 31, at 1:00 p.m. in the Evergreen Burial Park in New Philadelphia with her nephew, Pastor Dode Overton, officiating.
