Everett M. Bowman, 73, of Dover died Monday, September 6, 2004 at the Union Hospital.
He retired from Buckeye Career Center as an instructor in appliance repair, heating and air conditioning.
Born January 21, 1931 he was a son of the late Arthur and Anna House Bowman.
He was a member of Crooked Run United Methodist Church, served with the Marine Corps. and was also a member of the Dover American Legion.
Everett was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Aeling Bowman who died on February 24, 2001.
He is survived by a daughter, Sue (Duane) Vogel of New Philadelphia; sister, Lois Swihart of Sugarcreek; two grandchildren, Adam Ames Vogel and Benjamin Lloyd Vogel; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2004 at 11:00 am in the Crooked Run United Methodist Church at New Philadelphia with Rev. George Reichman and Rev. John Clark officiating. Interment will be at the Crooked Run United Methodist Church Cemetery where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Wednesday from 5 to 7:30 pm, and at the church, one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
