Fae L. Feutz, 69, of Dover, passed away on Friday, May 24, 2024 at Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital.
She was born on August 14, 1954, in Alamosa, Colorado to the late Derril and Wilma Vandruff Mickelsen.
Fae showcased a remarkable dedication to her work as an accountant for Skyview Cooling in Arizona until illness forced her retirement in 1998.
Beyond her professional life, Fae was known for her vibrant personality and her strong faith as a member of the First United Methodist Church. Her compassion and kindness touched the hearts of many and will be fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. In her leisure time, Fae found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She had a passion for reading and traveling, with one of her most cherished experiences being the mission trips she embarked on to Portugal. It was during these trips that she not only explored new horizons but also embraced the language with such determination that she became fluent in just six weeks.
Fae is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Benjamin Feutz, whom she married on August 29, 1992; her daughter, Amanda E. Feutz of New Philadelphia; her sisters, Dessa (Mark) Pottberg and Genia (Keith) Rasmussen both of Colorado; as well as her brother, Eric (Deeann) Mickelson of Arizona. Together with a host of family members and friends, they will carry forward Fae's legacy of love and grace.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 30th starting at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Wesley George officiating.
