Faye I. Jaberg, 86, of the Country Club Retirement Center and formerly of 3rd St. N.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio died Wednesday, July 28, 2004 in Union Hospital following a brief illness.
Faye retired in 1979, as an employee of the Tuscarawas County Clerk of Courts office. Following retirement, she was a longtime volunteer at Union Hospital.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia.
Born August 6, 1917 in Canton, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Maime Walton Clutz. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Ben” Jaberg who died May 11, 1957, two granddaughters, Renee and Jeannie Jaberg and a brother, Eugene Clutz.
Faye is survived by two sons and daughters in law
Ron (Barb) Jaberg and Don (Barb) Jaberg both of Dover; three grandchildren, Ben (Sondra) Jaberg, Ron (Christy) Jaberg, and Jim (Lisa) Jaberg all of New Philadelphia along with four great grandchildren and another great grandchild expected in August.
At Faye�(TM)s request, cremation will take place.
A graveside service for family and friends will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2004 at 11 am in the East Avenue Cemetery at New Philadelphia with Elder Glenn Carlisle officiating. There are no calling hours.
