Felicia A. Floyd

Felicia A. Floyd, 69, of Dover died on Monday, December 28, 2009 at her home following a sudden illness.

Felicia was a middle school teacher, having retired from Garaway Middle School after 29 years.

Born November 24, 1940 in Dover she was a daughter of the late John and Loretta Murphy Capozella. Her brothers, Richard and Terry Capozella, also preceded her in death.

Felicia was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Dover and was active with the Bereavement Committee and served as a Eucharistic Minister. She enjoyed music, spending time with her grandchildren and collecting snowmen. She had also been a child sponsor for many years.

Felicia is survived by her daughter, Lori (husband, Mike) Roth of Jewett; grandchildren, Allan, Makayla, Emma and Hannah; brothers and sisters, Kathy (husband, William) Thomas of Dover, John (wife, Susan) Capozella of New Philadelphia, Tom (wife, Kate) Capozella of Dover, Joanne (husband, Milton) Hamilton of New Philadelphia, Denny (wife, Shawna) Capozella of Florida and Angela (husband, Steve) Rampy of Texas.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. Matt Hoover officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Following the burial, there will be a luncheon at the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday from 6-8 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 7:45 pm.
