Florence I. Billiter, 84, of Strasburg died at her home surrounded by her family and loved one's including her dog, Beaver, on Friday, December 18, 2009 following an extended illness.

She served on the committee for the Tuscarawas County Homemakers, where she received the 2007 Homemaker of the Year award.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Fred; her five sons; Ralph Billiter of New Philadelphia, Russell Billiter of Hannibal, Ohio, Fred Billiter, Jr. of Caldwell, Ohio, George (wife, Judy) Billiter of Stone Creek, Roger (wife, Lynn) Billiter of Strasburg; three daughters, Nancy (husband, Wayne) O'Brien of Texas, Rita "Skeeter" (husband, Mark) Meeks-Rothacher of Strasburg, Elda Hadorn of Dover, as well as 30 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
