Florence M. Espenschied

Florence M. Espenschied, 93, of 315 Reeves Ave., Dover, Ohio died Thursday, April 20, 2006 in her home following a brief illness.

She was an employee of the former Belmont Stamping and Enameling Company in New Philadelphia.

Born September 20, 1912 near Fresno, she was the daughter of the late Henry G. and Mary Stein Regula.

Florence was a longtime member of the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Dover. She enjoyed quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold H. Espenschied with whom she had celebrated 51 years of marriage. He died January 2, 1994.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews including Sandi Hanenkrat and her husband, Jerry Wemple of New Philadelphia Jerry (LuAnn) Regula of Columbus and Ruth (Eugene) Wenger of Stone Creek; great nieces and nephews, including Wendy Hitchcock, Michelle Larkin, Jeffrey and Michael Hanenkrat and her loving friend and sister in law, Frances Regula.

Florence was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Cline and three brothers, Clarence, Lewis, and Russell Regula.

A funeral service celebrating Florence�(TM)s life will be held Tuesday, April 25, 2006 at 11am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover with Pastors Jim Lewis and Marlin Drake officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. A reception will follow in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 6-8pm.
