Forrest Rennicker

Forrest Rennicker, 85, of 436 E. 3rd St., Dover, died Monday, September 6, 1999 in Union Hospital.

He had worked for the Eberhart Coal Company for 28 years.

Born June 21, 1914, he was son of the late David Bessie Gundy Rennicker.

He attended Bolivar Wesleyan Church and was active in it's 'Best Years' fellowship group.  He was a member of the Eberhart Coal Retirees group, loved being outdoors working with his flowers, camping, and also enjoyed baking.

He is survived by his wife, Freda (Howell) Rennicker, whom he wed on December 19, 1942.

Daughter, Shirley Pittman, son, Donald & Linda Rennicker all of Dover.
Grandchildren, Karen & Christopher Brinkley, Beth Rennicker & Lanny Alborn, Greg and Becky Rennicker, Lisa Rennicker & Tom Kazelman
Great Grandchildren, Matthew & Joshua Atkinson, Brent Rennicker
Brother, Carl Rennicker of Barnhill
4 sisters, Erma Weaver of New Philadelphia, Dorothy Roberts of Brightwood, Dolores Himes & Dolly Kendle both of Dover.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 6 brothers.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 10, at 2:00pm in Bolivar Wesleyan Church with pastors Dr. Steve Gerig, and Jeff Mansell officiating.  Interment will be in the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens in Dover.  Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm, and one hour prior to services at the church on Friday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Bolivar Wesleyan Church.
