Frank Clark, 82, of New Philadelphia, died Wednesday, March 6, 2002 in Aultman Hospital.
He was an electrician who had retired from the Timken Company at Canton after 40 years of service.
Born December 12, 1919 at Springfield, Ohio, he was son of the late Henry and Elyria Clark.
Frank was a member of the Church of God at Dover. He was a man of strong family values and loved spending time with his family playing games like dominoes or hearts and traveling. He enjoyed country and Blue Grass music and was in his own right a talented musician. He was also a big sports fan who especially enjoyed watching football and rooting for the Browns.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Ethel Norris Clark and his second wife Bertha Penick Clark.
Frank is survived by his wife Dorothy Harmon Clark, whom he wed on March 20, 1996.
Other survivors include: 3 children; Betty Briggs of Bolivar, Donald & Sandy Clark of Massillon, Shirley Cairo of Canton, 4 step-children; Albert ''Rosie'' Klein of Parral, Kenneth & Donita Klein of New Phila., Joyce & Len Gossard of Elgin, South Carolina and Hal Rosenberry of Parral, 3 sisters; Elsie Watkins, Helen Thorton and Margaret Clark all of Bridgeport, brother; Bill Clark of Bridgeport, 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 4 step-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wives, he was preceded in death by Howard & Jesse Clark.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 11, at 11:00am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover with Pastor Kenneth Yoder officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday from 2-5pm.
