Frank D. Leatherman

Frank D. “Bud” Leatherman, 64, of Canton died Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at Aultman Hospital.

Born February 11, 1941 in Roswell he was a son of Mildred L. Ball Leatherman of Canton and the late Frank J. Leatherman.

He enjoyed collecting antique trains and toys, along with attending flea markets and fishing. But, the most important thing in Frank�(TM)s life was spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was also a Navy veteran.

Frank is survived by his wife, Linda Stephens Leatherman with whom he celebrated 42 years of marriage on February 23, 2005.

He is also survived by two daughters, Robin (Terry) Dillon of New Philadelphia and Jenny (Jeremiah) Hamric of Oceanside, California; three sons, David (Kathy) Leatherman of Cullman, Alabama, Daniel Leatherman and his companion Jim Blime of Palm Springs, California, Thomas (Courtney) Leatherman of Phoenix, Arizona; brother in law, Terry Arbogast of Canton; 12 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by a sister, Jean Arbogast.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2005 at 1:30 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory in New Philadelphia with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be at the Ridgecrest Memory Gardens. Following the burial, a reception will be held at the Masonic Hall in Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home on Saturday from 6-8 pm.
