Fred A. Bory

Fred Bory, 92, of Dover died Sunday, June 13, 2004 in Aultman Hospital at Canton.

He was a retired truck driver.

Born July 20, 1911 in West Virginia, he was the son of the late Joe and Sophie Popovich Bory.

Fred was a member of the Dover Bible Church. He enjoyed playing cards and visiting with friends and neighbors.

In addition to his parents and brothers Michael and Sam Bory, Fred was preceded in death by his wife of 72 years, Cora Ruth Bridgeman Bory, who died on May 7 of this year. They were married April 18, 1932.

Survivors include: a daughter, Dolly (Don) Orr of Johnstown; three sons, Lowell (Sue) Bory of Dover, Terry Bory of Massillon, and Jeff (Germaine) Bory of Carrollton; five grandchildren, Amy, Adam (a Marine stationed in Okinawa, Japan) and Rhoda Bory, Debbie and Doug Orr; and four great-grandchildren, Doug, Brad, Steven and William Orr.

A funeral service celebrating Fred�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, June 16, at 1 p.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, Dover, with Pastor Max Canfield of the First Church of the Brethren, New Philadelphia, officiating. Burial will be in Dover Burial Park. Family and friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 15, 6�" 9 p.m.
