Fred L. White, 75, of Roswell passed away on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Union Hospital following a period of declining health.
Born May 26, 1943 in Swink, Oklahoma he was a son of the late Leonard and Gracie Bean White. Fred was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Bernard and brother, Charlie White.
He was a Deputy Sheriff under the late Lou Clark, and was the owner and operator of White’s Auto Supply until 2005. Prior to health restrictions, Fred loved golfing, fishing, bowling, auctions and yard sales.
Fred is survived by his wife of 54 years, Andrea “Ann” Stringer White whom he married on February 2, 1964; children, Steven (Karen) White, Shelley Lindsay Brown, Kim (Brian) Fox; grandchildren, Sue Schafer, Kelli and Kyle Ickes, Jamie Lindsay, Leigh Trimmer, Korey White, Brandon and Baili Fox, Jirah Brown; great grandchildren, Adryan and Logan Schafer, Jayden Singleton, Andrew, Deakin and Bryer Trimmer, Lilly Hunt, Scarlett Ickes; siblings, Ludy, Retha, Ray, Hobert, Vera, Bobbi, Ann, Phyllis, Pam; numerous nieces and nephews; brother and sister in law, Bob and Judy Luthy and his special neighbors, Chip, Sonja and CJ Teague.
