Frieda P. Neibert, 82, of Dover, died Tues., Mar. 25, 2008, after a long illness.
Born, Jun. 4, 1925, in Stone Creek, she was a daughter of the late George and Della Ott Muehlhoffer. Frieda was a loving homemaker, and also managed the Lawson's (later Dairy Mart) in Dover for over twenty years. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Dover. Frieda enjoyed sewing, making many of her children's clothes when the were younger, and was also fond of gardening, growing vegetables and flowers.
Survivors include four daughters, Patricia (Wes) Fehndrich of Wooster, Victoria (William) Friel of Gnadenhutten, Cynthia (Danial) Patterson of Uhrichsville, and Angela Neibert of Dover; a son, Michael Neibert of Dover; ten grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; a sister, Olive Smith of Lawrence, KS; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Frieda was preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, David Neibert, in 1994, and by a sister, Mary Muehlhoffer.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Friday, Mar. 28, 5-8 p.m. A funeral service for Frieda will be held Saturday, Mar. 29, at 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home, with Pastor Jim Lewis and Dr. William C. Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Stone Creek Cemetery. Following the committal, there will be a meal in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center on the Boulevard in Dover.
