Gary C. Pulley

Gary C. Pulley, 60, of Dover died Monday, April 11, 2016 in his home surrounded by his loving family.

Born March 28, 1956 in Dover he was a son of Wyema Walton Pulley Smart of Dover and the late CG Pulley. Gary was also preceded in death by two daughters, Melissa and Angela Pulley and a sister, Cathy Pulley.

He retired from Usher Transport as a truck driver. Gary proudly served his country with the United States Marines during the Vietnam War and was a member of the New Philadelphia VFW and Union Hill United Methodist Church. Gary loved his family, especially his grandchildren, and he had a passion for riding his Harley Davidson.

Gary will be sadly missed by his wife, Patricia Kuemerle Reichman Pulley; children, Sean (Amanda) Pulley of New Philadelphia, Dana (John) Amore of Newcomerstown; step daughter, Amber (Terry) Reichman of Dover; sisters, Shari (Ted) Dayton of Strasburg, Candy St. Peter of Dover; brother, Eddie (Becky) Pulley of Newcomerstown; seven grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 15 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor Carl Kandle officiating. Interment will be at the Dover Burial Park where the Dover VFW will conduct military graveside services. Friends can call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm.
