Geno W. Contini, age 53, of Dover, died Wednesday, September 18, 2013, under the care of Community Hospice in Park Village Health Care Center at Dover, following a long illness.
Born March 23, 1960, at Dover, he was a son of Peter Contini of Dover, and the late Laura Ross Contini. Geno attended Dover schools and was employed for many years as an automobile mechanic for Humphries Auto City at Dover.
Geno loved his family and enjoyed being with them. He liked the outdoors and riding his motorcycle. Additionally, he was a woodworker, and was a member of "The Handyman Club."
Survivors include three daughters, Jennifer Wood of Wheeling, West Virginia, Natasha (companion, Tyson Schultz) Contini, of Dover, and Lyrisa Contini of Medina; four sons, Rod (wife, Jill) Contini of Dover, Kevin Contini of Highland, Indiana, Nathonn and Ethan Contini, both of Medina; nine grandchildren; a sister, Doris (husband, William) Reese of Bolivar; three nephews; three great-nieces; two great-nephews; and his beloved macaw, Kacey.
In keeping with Geno's wishes, there will be no visitation or ceremony. Cremation is in the care of the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover.
The family suggests that contributions in Geno's memory be made to Community Hospice, 716 Commercial Ave. S.W., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
