Georganne H. Geltz, 75, of Dover died Saturday, September 14, 2002 at Mercy Medical Center in Canton following an extended illness.
She retired in 1971 from East Elementary School in Dover having taught the second grade for 21 years.
Born February 16, 1927 in East Liverpool she was a daughter of the late George and Lucille Hill Race.
She was a Methodist by faith and was a member of the French Colony Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution in Gallipolis, Ohio. She enjoyed being with her family, playing the piano and gardening.
Georganne is survived by her husband Frank L. Geltz with whom she would have celebrated 39 years of marriage on November 24, 2002.
She is also survived by a sister in law: Shirley (Charles) Baumer of Coshocton.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 18, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Steve Court and her nephew Rev. Jeffrey Baumer officiating. Interment will be at Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 6-8 pm.
