George A. Milyiori

George A. Milyiori, 85, of Dover, died Thursday, March 1, 2001 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

He retired in 1979 from Union Camp at Dover after 48 years of service.

Born February 22, 1916 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Frank and Frances Donatelli Sama.

George was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover where he had been active in the Men's Club and was a Eucharistic Minister. He loved music and had played clarinet with a band in Pittsburgh. He also enjoyed woodworking.

George is survived by his wife of 65 years Angeline Berarducci Milyiori, whom he wed on October 5, 1935.

7 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren

In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by: 3 sisters, Angeline Damiane, Ann Politano & Adeline Rossi, and a brother, Louis Milyiori.

A funeral mass will be held Monday, March 5, at 2:00pm in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. A reception will follow services in the St. Joseph School activity center. Friends may call on Sunday in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover from 2-4 & 6-8pm. Christian Wake services will be held Sunday at 7:30pm.
