George H. Canfield

George H. Canfield, 88, of Dennison died Sunday, November 23, 2014.

Born May 29, 1926 in New Philadelphia he was a son of the late Russell and Mary Henry Canfield. George was also preceded in death by his brother, Russell Jr.

George was a well-known area window washer. He was a member of the Church of Christ in New Philadelphia and was an avid fan of the Cleveland Browns and Indians.

He is survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 26 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be in the Sharon Moravian Church Cemetery at Tuscarawas. Friends can call in the funeral home one hour prior to the service on Wednesday.
