George J. Stucky

George J. Stucky, 82, of Dover died Friday, April 9, 2004 at Union Hospital.

George graduated from Dover High School, Ohio State University and the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. He was a high school Band Director for 43 years in Cadiz, Upper Sandusky, Bolivar and Claymont.

He was a member of First Moravian Church in Dover where he served as Senior Choir Director for many years. He was also a WW II Veteran.

Born November 16, 1921 in Dover he was a son of the late W. Ray and Margaret Renkert Stucky.

George is survived by a sister, Eleanor Engler of Ridgeville Corners, Ohio; niece, Christine (Mike) Cline of Gahanna, Ohio and a nephew, John (Christine) Engler of Liberty Center, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2004 at 2:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Glen Shedlock officiating. Interment will be at the Maple Grove Cemetery in Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home on Monday from 12:30 pm until services at 2:00pm.
