Glen F. Le Glise

Glen F. Le Glise, 61, of Dover, and formerly of Strasburg, died at Hennis Care Center on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 following an extended illness.

Born on January 26, 1949 in Canton he was the son of the late Phillip and Marie Kullman Le Glise. He married the love of his life, Regina Le Glise on June 29, 1998.

He honorably served our country in the Army during the Vietnam and Desert Storm wars. He served active duty for four years and spent over 18 years in the Ohio National Guard 1485th Unit.

Glen was employed at Sterilite in Massillon for over 10 years. He also worked at Rick's Service Station in Strasburg for 20 years. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson and spending time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his wife; Regina, he will be sadly missed by his step-son, Chad L. Arbogast of Dover; four step grandchildren, Troy, Alex, Braison, Skylie Arbogast; his daughter, Melissa Le Glise and her fiancé, Dale Rector of New Philadelphia; nine brothers and sisters, Danny (Brenda) Le Glise, Rita (Robert) Hoover of Rittman, Raymond (Judy) Le Glise of Alabama, Mary (Frank) Hershberger of New Philadelphia, Phyllis (Cliff) Wright of Dover, Dennis (Glennetta) Le Glise of Dover, Victor (Debbie) Le Glise of Mineral City, Mark Le Glise of Dover, Margaret (Jim) Hiteshen of Elyria, a brother in law; Donald Simmerman of Canton, as well as 19 nieces and nephews and 24 great nieces and nephews.
Glen is preceded in death by three brothers; Cletus, Bernard and Carl Le Glise.

A celebration of Glen's life will take place at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 12:00 with Pastor Brian Flood officiating. Burial will follow at St. Stephens Cemetery in Bolivar where the Dover VFW will conduct a military graveside service. Friends are invited to call at the funeral home on Monday from 10-12:00 pm.
