Glenda D. Fostor

Glenda D. Fostor, 71, of New Philadelphia passed away on Sunday, December 19, 2021.

Born in Canton on August 5, 1950, she was the daughter of the late Merle D. and Rebecca (Morris) Ward Sr. On December 14, 1969, she married Jerry E. Fostor, who preceded her in death on September 27, 2020. Glenda was also preceded in death by her brothers Floyd, Larry, and Rodney Ward.

Glenda was a member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Baltic. She retired from Genie in Baltic after 20 years. Glenda had many talents including stained glass, ceramics, and making desserts. She also enjoyed making wedding cakes.

She leaves behind her children; Jayme Fostor of New Philadelphia, Jade (Chad) Miller of Sugarcreek; grandchildren, Tyler and Tucker Fostor, and Ciana Hostetler, Paige (Josiah) Sparling, and Bryce Hostetler; her brother, Merle Jr. (Linda) Ward of Strasburg; along with her sister, Betty (Gary) Whiteman of Virginia.

In honoring Glenda’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted with the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
