Glenn G. Weber

Glenn G. Weber, 95, of Strasburg died Sunday, March 21, 2010 in the Hennis Care Centre at Dover.

Glenn owned and operated a dairy farm in Lakeville.

Born August 19, 1914 in Strasburg he was a son of the late Percy and Emma Newman Weber.

He was a member of the Strasburg United Methodist Church, National Farm Organization, Loudonville Grange and was a 1932 graduate of Dundee High School.

Glenn was preceded in death by his first wife, Virginia Sweitzer Weber who died in 1992, and is survived by his second wife, Kathryn King Gardner Weber. He is also survived by his daughters, Dawn (Herbert) Hoover of Colorado, Marla (Jim) Strong, Sharon (Harry "Bud") Strong and Lois (Ronald) Kline all of Perrysville, Kathryn (Joe) Ajtaji of Loudonville and Laurel (Richard) Gayhart of Helena, Ohio; son, Harold (Dorothy) Weber of Loudonville; brother, Donald (Twila) Weber of Bellefontaine, Ohio; sister, Sarah Jane Harold of Bolivar; 41 grandchildren and 94 great grandchildren.

Glenn was also preceded in death by his brothers, Warren and Clifford Weber; sisters, Helen Burrell and Marian Weber and grandchildren, Amy Jo Eaton and Annette Kline.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 10:00 am in the Strasburg United Methodist Church with Rev. Lynda K. Masters officiating. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery at Funk, Ohio. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday from 5-8 pm.
