Glenna J. Fisher, 80, of Dover died Saturday, November 5, 2016 in the Park Village Health Care Center.
Born September 18, 1936 in Rush Township she was a daughter of the late Russell and Evelyn Kensey Edwards. Glenna was also preceded in death by her husband, Wayne W. Fisher on February 27, 1973; brothers, Larry and Ronald Edwards; sisters, Linda Cox, Carolyn "Dee" Klimaszewski and step son, Dr. Barry C. Fisher.
Glenna retired as a bookkeeper in 2005 from the Dover Army-Navy Club after 20 years of service. She was a member of Dover Foursquare Gospel Church, Senior Center, Dover Army-Navy, Moose, Eagles, VFW and Elks Clubs. A giving woman, she loved caring for others, and in her spare time, she enjoyed playing euchre and reading.
Glenna is survived by her companion, Larry Kopp and his entire family; sons, Rodney "Opie" (Marie) Fisher of Texas, Kelley (Cindy) Fisher of Dover; brothers, Jim (Vanessa) Edwards of New Philadelphia, Tim Edwards of Florida; sister, Nancy (Sam) Snyder of Gahanna; grandchildren, Chad, Adam, Amanda, Sarah; great grandchildren, Natalee, Zachary, Jack, Addison, Luke, Logan, Kylie and Brody; step-son, Gary (Linda) Fisher of Texas; step-daughter, Dixie (Vern) Wadsworth of Minerva and numerous step-grand and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 9 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover with Pastor David Wing officiating. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5-8 pm.
