Gloria J. Czatt, age 80, of New Philadelphia, died Tuesday, May 6, 2014, in her home from complications following heart surgery.
Born July 22, 1933, at Dennison, she was a daughter of the late Paul L. and Sarah Mae Albaugh Ohler. Gloria attended Dennison High School and was a loving homemaker. She was also employed in the Housekeeping Department of Twin City Hospital, Dennison. Gloria was a member of Dover Bible Church.
Survivors include her husband, Donald R. "Don" Czatt, whom she married on May 14, 1977; three daughters, Paula (Bill) Long of Tuscarawas, Vickie (Phil) Harris of Dover, and Georgia (Dan) Gordon of Dennison; a son, Kevin (Shelly Parrish) Renicker of Uhrichsville; a step-son, Gary (Beth) Czatt of Bolivar; fourteen grandchildren, Dawnette, Mandy, Billi, Andy, Josh, Daniel, Amy, Lacey, Lyndi, Megan, Dia, Jenna, Kristal, and Sonni; twenty-three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Nancy (Larry) Rosenberry of Dennison, Mary (Charlie) Grandison of Uhrichsville, and Kay (Ronnie) Hunt of Crooksville, Tennessee; two aunts, Barb Albaugh of Dennison and Shirley Albaugh of Sandyville; many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, Gloria was preceded in death by an infant sister, Linda Roseberry; a sister, Bev Sheldon; and by a brother, Glenn Roseberry.
Honoring Gloria's wishes, a graveside service, open to the public, will be held Saturday, May 10, at 2 p.m. in Dover Burial Park with Pastor Luke Holt officiating. Following the ceremony, there will be a luncheon in Dover Bible Church, 4173 Minard Rd. N.W. Visitation will be private.
