Gloria J. Franks

Gloria J. Franks, 58, of Dover, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, February 25, 2018.

Born March 8, 1959 in Dover she was a daughter of the late Tom and Barbara Barnes Barcroft.

She had been employed at JLG Industries in Orrville, and was a member of the First Moravian Church in Dover. Gloria enjoyed cake decorating, and spending time with her grandchildren, especially going to all of their sporting events.

She is survived by her children, Melissa (Brandon) Tylke, Nate (Amy) Ady both of Dover; brothers, Tom (Christine) Barcroft of Mansfield, Chris Barcroft of North Carolina; sister, Barbara (Ray) Thompson of Dover; grandchildren, Zander, Tatum, Asher, Lily; nieces and nephews, Ben Barcroft, Zachary (Meg) Barcroft, Nicholas Barcroft, Tony and Trisha Thompson; great nephew, Jacob Thompson; traveling companions, Jeanie Sauernheimer, Diane Davis; and her special friend, Bruce Hamrick.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover. A celebration of Gloria’s life will be held on Thursday, March 1st at 11:00 am in the First Moravian Church, Dover with Rev. John Wallace officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the service on Thursday.
