Goldie M. Diehl, 93, of 1328 E. Main St., Louisville, Ohio and a former Dover resident died Tuesday, Nov. 2, 1999 in her home following a brief illness.
Born August 10, 1906 near Chillicothe, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Hiram and Sarah E. Rinehart Seymour.
Goldie was a member of the Little Country Church in Waynesburg and the Fellowship of L.C.C. She also belonged to the Jolly 60’s in Canton. She enjoyed crocheting.
She was preceded in death by her husband Earl Diehl who died Nov. 20, 1968.
She is survived by two sons Earl (Hilda) Diehl of Gary, Texas and Howard (Wanda) Diehl of Waynesburg.
Two daughters Dorothy (Harry) Ankrom of Bolivar and Fern (Martin) Thompson of Louisville.
One brother Robert Sineff of New Philadelphia
10 grandchildren 20 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandson along with several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, one great granddaughter, and six sisters.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 10:00 AM in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Pastors Dale Boston, Steve Manko, and Tom Dooley officiating. Interment will be in the Dover Burial Park. Friends can call at the funeral home on Friday from 5-8 PM.
