Gustus W. Wilhelm

Gustus W. Wilhelm, 18, of Strasburg passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday, January 26, 2021.

Gus was born on April 19, 2002 in Renton, Washington to Lynnette Fox Wilhelm of Strasburg and the late Jeffry Wilhelm. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by three grandparents and his uncle, Rob Fox.

Gus loved the outdoors and could be found hunting, fishing, kayaking and camping. He was a Boy Scout and enjoyed playing X-Box with his friends. Gus was a 2020 graduate of Strasburg High School and the Buckeye Career Center.

In addition to his mother, Gus is also survived by his sister, Crystal (JP) Jenkins of Dundee; aunts and uncles, Pam (Randy) Schupbach, JoAnn Fox both of Strasburg, Pam (Denny) Brumbaugh of Perry Township, Penny (Terry) Large of East Canton; nephew, Kane Peters and his grandmother, Pat (Frank) Ross of Massillon.

The family will be greeting friends on Sunday, January 31 from 2-4 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at 140 South Bodmer Ave. Strasburg. There will be no funeral services. Due to Covid-19 masks and social distancing will be required.
