H. Frances Lukens, 84, of Dover died Saturday, September 24, 2005 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
She retired from M& M Market in 2000 with over 20 years of service.
Born October 20, 1920 in Dundee she was a daughter of the late Dewey and Flossie Medam Burrell.
Frances was a member of St. John�(TM)s United Church of Christ in Dover, past Worthy Matron of the Tuscarawas Chapter of the Eastern Star and was a 1938 graduate of Dover High School. In her spare time she enjoyed reading.
Frances is survived by three daughters, Karen (Louis) Monticelli of Dover, Rebecca (Jerry) Surbey of Virginia and Sandra (Paul) Linton of Connecticut; two sisters, Jane Kaltenbaugh of Strasburg and Doris Cooley of Dover; brother, Max (Jean) Burrell of Dover; nine grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 27, 2005 at 3:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover. Friends can call at the funeral home on Tuesday one-hour prior to the service. Eastern Star services will start at 1:45 pm.
