Hannelore Corpman

Hannelore Corpman, age 88, went home to be with Jesus on August 17, 2022 surrounded by her family.

Hannelore was born to the late Artur and Wanda Budde on January 14, 1934, in Berlin, Germany. On August 20, 1959, she married Stanley F. Corpman, who preceded her in death on August 4, 1982. Hannelore was also preceded in death by her infant son; her sisters, Margrit Fischer and Lotte Reynolds; granddaughter, Jillian Campbell; son in-law, Chuck Flaherty, and former spouse, Charles Campbell.

She will be greatly missed by her five children; Frank (Debbie) Campbell, Monika Flaherty, Pete (Bonnie) Campbell, Patricia (Burt) Kramer, and Silvia (Eric) Lanzer, two step-sons, Stanley (Diane) and Rogie (Linda) Corpman, 17 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

Hannelore was a longtime member of LifeWay Church (formerly known as First Assembly of God) in New Philadelphia. She worked multiple waitressing jobs across the country before settling down as a housekeeper at Country Club Retirement Campus in Dover for 34 years, where she also did private duty for several residents. She was passionate about cleaning and washing dishes, always going above and beyond whether it was work, home, or helping her family.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Community Hospice in New Philadelphia for the attentive and compassionate care they provided as well as Helen Shroyer, a beloved friend of Hannelore.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at LifeWay Church on Saturday, August 20, 2022 at 11 am. Friends and family are welcome. Arrangements for the cremation have been handled by the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover.
