Harold "Red" Egler, 76, of Dover died Saturday, January 22, 2000 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
He retired in 1986 from East Sparta Ceramic Tile after 45 years of service. Following retirement he was employed at the Atwood Lake Marina.
Born October 22, 1923 in Somerdale he was a son of the late Raymond and Beulah
Stonebrook Egler.
He was a member of Broadway United Methodist Church in New Philadelphia.
Harold is survived by his wife Annabelle "Ann" Roberts Egler with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage on December 25, 1999.
He is also survived by a daughter: Pam and Vince Pirillo of New Philadelphia.
Sister: Eileen Dalton of Somerdale.
Two grandchildren: Zac and Chastin Pirillo of New Philadelphia.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2000 at 7:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover with Rev. Warren Outhwaite and Rev. Jim Spencer officiating. Interment will be in Jerusalem Cemetery at New Philadelphia. There are no calling hours.
