Harold Eugene Watson, 79, of Anaheim, California and a former Dover resident died Friday, December 12, 2003.
For 25 years he had served as the Union President at the former Reeves Steel, retiring in 1984. Upon retirement he served as area staff representative for the AFL/CIO.
Born April 27, 1924 at Dover, he was the son of the late George and Anna Spiker
Watson.
As a member of the Army, Harold served in the European Theater during World War II.
Harold is survived by his wife, Roberta J. Francis Watson, whom he wed on February 11, 1951.
Other survivors include: a son; Jeff of Huntington Beach, CA, daughter; Debra of Cape Coral, FL, a brother; Ken and sister Barbara, three grandsons and a granddaughter.
In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by: three brothers; Bill, Glen and Jack and a sister; Jane.
A public graveside service will be held Saturday, December 20, at 11:00 a.m. in the Maple Grove Cemetery at Dover with Dr. Terry Downin officiating. The Dover VFW will also conduct military honors.
