Hazel I. Kimble

Hazel Kimble, 89, of 446 Shawnee Dr. Dover, died Monday, May 15, 2000 in Union Hospital.

She was born June 25, 1910 in Moundsville, WV. She attended Moundsville High School and worked at the Fostoria Glass Factory in Moundsville. From there she moved to Washington, Pennsylvania and then to Cambridge where she was a painter in the Cambridge Glass Factory.

In 1942 she moved to Cleveland where she worked at Eaton Axle Company. She then moved to Las Vegas, NV, where she worked as an admission clerk in the Sunrise Hospital and in the Henderson Rose Delima Hospital for 15 years before coming to Dover in 1972.

Hazel was married to the late Luther Kimble, and had one daughter, Twylia Davis, who passed away in 1969. Her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Oliver Brannan, four sisters and two brothers are all deceased.

She has always been a member of the United Methodist Church, and attended the First United Methodist Church at Dover since 1973.

Also surviving are nieces and nephews in Moundsville, WV.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 18, at 1:00pm in the First United Methodist Church at Dover with Rev. James Scott officiating. Interment will be in Girard County Cemetery at Lancaster, Kentucky. Friends may call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Dover on Wednesday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.
