Helen A. Arnold

Helen A. Arnold, 90, of Dover and formerly of Strasburg died Friday, November 23, 2012 in the New Dawn Retirement Center at Dover.

Born April 4, 1922 in Strasburg she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose Scheetz Bair. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Ernest L. Arnold in 1976; sister, Florence Strong and brothers, Albert and Harold Bair.

She was a member of St. John United Church of Christ in Strasburg and the Senior Center.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Wanda (Gary) Burky of New Philadelphia; grandchildren, Julie (David) Greenwood of Newcomerstown, Diane (Tod) Carper of Dover and Chad (Michele) Burky of New Philadelphia and five great grandchildren, Brian and Cory Greenwood, Chloe and Willem Carper and Clayton Burky and five nieces and nephews.

Private family services will be held with interment in the Grandview Union Cemetery at Strasburg. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Strasburg is handling arrangements.
