Helen E. Burkhart

Helen E. Burkhart, 62, of Dover died Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Aultman Hospital following an extended illness.

Born December 29, 1949 in Dennison she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Mary Wright Mann. Helen was also preceded in death by her sister, Barbara Anslow and brothers, Arthur and Keith Mann.

Helen retired as a waitress at the Junction Truck Stop in Strasburg after 34 years of service.

She is survived by her sons, Terry (Cheryl) Walker of Strasburg and Scott Burkhart of Dover; brothers, Kenneth (Linda) Mann of Roswell and Jacob (Donna) Mann of Barnhill; sisters, Mary Ann (Wayne) Short of Dover and Alice (James) Dillow of West Virginia; grandchildren, Jace and Dylan Walker and her companion, Mike Whipkey of Dover.

Friends and family can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover on Wednesday from 5-7 pm. There are no services. Cremation will follow calling hours through the care of the Toland-Herzig Crematory.
