Helen L. Dalpiaz

Helen Lucille Dalpiaz, 94, of Dover passed away on Friday, November 12, 2021 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

She was born on August 26, 1927 in Wainwright and was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna Swaldo Davis. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dalpiaz on October 25, 2016; brothers, Joseph, Robert and Floyd Davis; granddaughter, Stephanie Dalpiaz; daughter in law, Linda McGinnis Dalpiaz and sister in law, Jean Davis.

Helen was a loving homemaker who also worked at Bonvechio’s Restaurant in Wainwright for many years. She was a 1945 graduate of Tuscarawas High School and was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by her children, Louis (Vicki) Dalpiaz of Dover, Kay (Gary) Compton, Ken (Bobbi) Dalpiaz both of New Philadelphia, Judy (Greg) Swope , Jeff Dalpiaz both of Dover, Jay (Kathy) Dalpiaz of North Carolina; sisters in law, Shirley and Marjorie Davis; grandchildren, Lori (Brian) Kutcher, Luke (Amanda) Dalpiaz, Angelica (John Igrec) Compton, Aaron Compton, Adam Compton, Mackenzie Dalpiaz, Max Swope, Julia Swope; great grandchildren, Leah and Landon Kutcher, Theodore, Howard Louis, Neil Igrec, Dominic Dalpiaz; step grandchild, Blake Bitticker; step great grandchild, Jordan Bitticker.

A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 18th starting at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Jimmy Hatfield officiating. Interment will be in the Sacred Heart Calvary Cemetery, New Philadelphia. The family will be greeting friends on Wednesday from 5-7 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 6:45 pm. The family has requested masks be worn during calling hours and the funeral Mass.
