Helen L. Detorio

Helen L. DeTorio, 92, of Dover died Sunday, October 28, 2007 in the Park Village Health Care Center at Dover.

Born February 1, 1915 in Coshocton, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Albert and Clara Sehl Wassem. Helen was also preceded in death by her husband, Louis DeTorio who died on October 4, 1982; son David DeTorio; three brothers, Albert, Carl and Leroy Wassem and a sister, Sara Rice.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Secular Franciscans and the Loyola Study Club.

Helen is survived by two grandchildren, David (Tonya) DeTorio II of Dover and Melissa (Ralph) Tate of Columbus; three great grandchildren, Kristina Knotts, Chipper Tate and Trevor Tate; daughter in law, Beverly DeTorio of Dover and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, November 2, 2007 at 11:00 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Friday from 9 to 10:45 am.
