Helen M. Miller

Helen M. Miller, 77, of Strasburg passed away on Thursday, February 4, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Helen was born in Adena, Ohio on March 7, 1943. She was the daughter of the late Vance and Hannah Mary (Haney) Wolfe. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Frank, Art, and Ray Wolfe.

She retired from Sugarcreek Window and Door where she was a saw operator for over 20 years. During this time she met many of her close friends, whom she continued to share monthly lunches with following retirement. Helen will be remembered by her famous potato salad and homemade pies.

On December 23, 1961, she married Harlan Miller, who survives. She also leaves behind her three children; Sherry Hershberger of Marion, Lisa (Tim) Pedersen of Dover, Joey Miller of Strasburg; three sisters, Frances Edgar of Beach City, and Dorothy Davis of Navarre, Elsie Patterson of New Philadelphia; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Matt) Craig, Jordan Hershberger, Jace Hershberger, Taylor (Austin) Troyer, Emily Pedersen, Harley, Mason, and Riley Miller; and four great-grandchildren, Cullen and Emilia Craig, Garrett Troyer, and Althea Hershberger; her beloved cat, Zoe; along with several other extended family members.
