Helen M. Rybarczyk, 81, of 511 N. Broadway, New Philadelphia, Ohio died Thursday, February 6, 2003 at Union Hospital following a brief illness.
She was a bookkeeper having retired in 1986 from Gundy Construction Company in New Philadelphia. She was also previously employed by J.A. Raeder Construction Co. and A.J. Weigand Trucking Company in Dover.
Born December 9, 1921 in Dover, she was the daughter of the late Carl and Rose Smith Brisgal.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia and it�(TM)s altar society and Senior Citizens group. She was a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Dover.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Rybarczyk who died September 13, 1992.
She is survived by two daughters Mary Ann (John) Smith of Dover and Beth (Dave) Rose of New Philadelphia; four grandchildren Tina M. Smith and Bruce L. Smith both of Dover and Melisa R. Rose and Amber L. Rose both of New Philadelphia; one sister, Betty L. Drago of Bronx, New York; a sister in law, Agnes (Rybarczyk) Augustyn of Cleveland; several cousins and many nieces and nephews including a very special niece, Beth Houze of Bolivar.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Henderson and Mary K. Bazzoli along with a niece.
A Rite of Christian Burial will be held Monday, February 10, 2003 at 10am in the Sacred Heart Church in New Philadelphia with Msgr. George Schlegel officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at New Philadelphia. Due to the renovation of the New Philadelphia funeral home, friends may call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Dover on Sunday from 2-5 pm with Christian Wake services at 4:45 pm.
