Helen Marie Renicker

Helen Marie Renicker, 81, of Dennison (Midvale), died Saturday, Mar. 3, 2007, in Union Hospital, surrounded by her family.

Born Nov. 28, 1925, in Dover, Helen was a daughter of the late Jess and Dorothy Grover Young. She graduated from Dover High School, and, in 1947, married Carl L. Renicker. Helen was a loving homemaker who enjoyed reading, sewing, crocheting, working word puzzles and going fishing.

Survivors include two daughters, Judith (husband, Erwin) Weselek of New Philadelphia, and Betsy (husband, Phil) Leslie of Montgomery, TX; a son, Dusty (wife, Karen) Renicker of Dennison; ten grandchildren, Sara (husband, Emery) Streit, Kayla Renicker and Daniel Renicker, Michael (wife, Christina) Roley, James (wife, Melissa) Weselek, Catherine (husband, Larry) Green, Christopher (wife, Amber) Weselek) Kenneth (wife, Nicole) Renicker, Tammy Renicker and Jason Renicker; six great-grandchildren; one step-great-granddaughter; a daughter-in-law, Susan Renicker of Massillon; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Carl, in 2002; two daughters, Jeanette and Carla Renicker; two sons, David and Richard Renicker; two sisters, Susan Carrothers and Bettie Steely; and by two brothers, John and Ned Young.

A memorial service for Helen will be held Saturday, Mar. 10, at 2 p.m., in the Roxford United Methodist Church, 771 Roxford Church Rd. S.E., Dennison, with Pastor Bob Mathias officiating. Burial of her cremated remains will be with her husband and children in Roxford Church Cemetery. Following the committal, there will be a reception in the Family Life Center of Roxford Church.
