Hessie “Granny” Bullion, 95, of Weatherford, Texas and a former Dover resident died Monday in Weatherford.
Hessie was a member of the Dover Foursquare Gospel Church for over 60 years. She worked in the defense program during World War II as a builder of ammunition boxes. She was a born again Christian and loved life and her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Bullion as well as a son, Dale Bullion and a daughter, Mary Carlean.
She is survived by one son, Samuel Thomas Bullion and wife Naomi of Springtown, Texas
Grandchildren Dennis (Theresa) Bullion of Springtown, Sandra (Dean) Snoddy of Richland Springs, Texas, Samuel Dale (Karen) Bullion and David (Lisa) Bullion both of Houston, Texas and Dale (Sharon) Newberg of Los Angeles, California.
Great grandchildren Michelle Longeria, Brian, Heather, and Danielle Snoddy, Christi and Jonathon Bullion, and Shelby and Samuel Trent; and a great great grandson, Logan Snoddy.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday at 11:30 AM in the Shannon Rose Hill Funeral Chapel in Fort Worth, Texas. An informal gathering will be held Thursday at 1 PM in the Dover Burial Park.
