Irene N. Morrison

Irene N. Morrison, 74, of Dover and formerly of Roswell died Wednesday, July 24, 2002 at Twin City Hospital following an extended illness.

She retired from Alsco in Sugarcreek after 30 years of service.

Born September 20, 1927 in Roswell she was a daughter of the late Pete and Mary Donati Monte.

She was a member of the Nazarene Church in New Philadelphia. She enjoyed bowling and spending time with her family.

Irene was preceded in death by her husband Edward Morrison who died in 1985.

She is survived by two sons: Gene (Linda) Morrison of Dover
Kenneth (Jami) Morrison of Dover

Daughter: Linda Pearch of Midvale

Brother: Gene (Ruth) Monte of Delaware, Ohio

Eight grandchildren: Tom Morrison, Karen Schlosser, Brent Morrison, Amy Morrison
Zackary Daley, Tammy Gorman, Kelly Eckert and Connie Kay
Hoover

She was also preceded in death by a brother: Robert Monte

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2002 at 1:00 pm in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home at Strasburg with Pastor Tracy Gorman officiating. Interment will be at East Avenue Cemetery in New Philadelphia. Friends can call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home in Strasburg on Friday from 6-8 pm.
