Ireta L. Mann

Ireta L. Mann, 91, of New Philadelphia died Thursday, February 19, 2015 in the Amberwood Manor at New Philadelphia.

Born April 21, 1923 in Coshocton she was a daughter of the late Frank and Clara Maxwell Caley. Ireta was also preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Miller on May 1, 1974, her second husband, Jacob Mann of May 8, 1997; two brothers, Carl and Edward Caley; sister, Vera Ellwood; son in law, Robert Metz; granddaughter, Vicki Metz Clay and three stepchildren.

She worked as a cook at many different restaurants in the county and in her spare time she enjoyed crocheting.

Ireta will be sadly missed by her daughters, Shirley (Clarence) Smitley and Judy Metz both of New Philadelphia; four step children; 36 grand and step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 23 at 11:00 am in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at New Philadelphia with Rev. Brian Flood officiating. Interment will be at the Stone Creek Cemetery. Friends can call at the New Philadelphia funeral home one hour prior to the service on Monday.
