Isaac E. Ayers, 81, of Dover, died Saturday, January 21, 2006 at Hennis Care Center in Dover.
Isaac was born in Cairo, West Virginia on March 16, 1924 and was the son of the late Rollar and Gladys Ayers. After many years of service, he retired from LTV Steel in Massillon, where he worked as a mill operator. He honored our country by serving in the United States Army during World War II and was a member or the Dover Bible Church.
Isaac is survived by his loving wife Fannie, whom he married 59 years ago on April 6, 1947; a son, Bob Ayers of Magnolia; two daughters, Dianna Ayers of Bethesda, Ohio, and Julie Ayers of Reno Nevada; three brothers, Keith (Betty) Ayers of Massillon, Von Ayers of Dover, and Zane Ayers of Strasburg; and a sister Janet Landis of Dover.
Isaac is preceded in death by three brothers; Max, Ray, and Williard Ayers and a sister Margaret Weaver.
A celebration of Isaac�(TM)s life will be held Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in Dover Bible Church at 11:00 am with Pastor Edward Scaglione officiating. Friends may call at Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory in Dover on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 from 5-8.
