Iva E. Kaser

Iva E. Kaser, 88, of Dover died Friday, January 23, 2009 at Park Village Health Care Center.

Born August 31, 1920 in New Philadelphia, Ohio she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clara Bair Weigand. Iva was also preceded in death by her husband, Willis Kaser who died on May 15, 1979, grandson, Kevin Kaser; brother, Paul Weigand and sister Esther Carl.

She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and the Secular Franciscans.

Iva is survived by four sons, William "Bill" (Martha) Kaser of Strasburg, Ronald (Patti) Kaser of New Philadelphia, Eugene Kaser of Massillon and Gregory Kaser of New Philadelphia; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at 10:30 am in the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Dover with Fr. William Arnold officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery at Dover. Following the burial a luncheon will be held in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center. Friends can call in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Homes and Crematory at Dover on Tuesday from 6-8 pm with Christian Wake services starting at 6 pm.
