Iva I. Miller

Iva I. Miller, 74, of Dover, passed away suddenly on Friday, January 17, 2020, at Joel Pomerene Memorial Hospital in Millersburg.

Born in Tuscarawas County, on November 12, 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ivan D. and Mary Ann (Yoder) Miller. She was also preceded in death by her daughter; Marilyn Garbrandt, her former husband; Samual Rothacher, her brother, Daniel I. Miller, and a stillborn brother.

She worked for Der Dutchman in Walnut Creek for over 15 years. She enjoyed fishing.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters; Ellen Rothacher of Sarasota, Florida, Kathleen Hupp of New Philadelphia; her grandson, Troy Garbrandt (Cory Berringer) of Bolivar; along with her other grandchildren, Mariah, Oneshia, Niegel, Elijah, Christopher, Jessica (Walter), Dennis, Nicholas (Kristen), Shayla; along with three great-grandchildren and one on the way; her brothers and sisters, Clara Miller of Sugarcreek, Mattie Miller of Sarasota, Melvin (Kay) Miller of Mt. Vernon, Ervin (Diane) Miller of New Philadelphia, Laura (Omar) Beiler of Sarasota, Ella (Henry) Graber of Sarasota; her sister-in-law, Mary Ann Miller of Sugarcreek; along with several other relatives from the Rothacher family.

In honoring Iva’s wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory in Dover. The family has arranged a gathering on Monday, January 20, 2020, at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm.
