Jack L. Adams

Jack L. Adams, 89, of New Philadelphia passed away on Saturday, September 03, 2016.

He was born on November 30, 1926 in Bellaire, Ohio to the late Howard and Minnie (Burket) Adams.

Jack graduated from Munhall High School near Pittsburgh in 1945. He married his beloved wife, Helen Macik in 1949. They moved to New Philadelphia where they raised two sons. Jack was a longtime employee at Gradall. He was always good natured and a lover of sports and jazz music.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.

He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Helen; two sons, Bruce (Debbie) Adams of Dover, Ron (Tracy) Adams of Dublin; five grandsons, Lucas Adams, Logan Adams, Derek Adams, Brady Adams, and Cody Adams; along with one great grandchild, Aley Adams.

Family will receive friends at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Cremtory in Dover on Saturday, September 10, 2016 from 11-12pm. A memorial service will take place at 12:00pm with Rev. Thomas Dunkle officiating. Immediately following the service, a meal will be served at the Famous Endings Museum which is located at the funeral home.
