Jackie J. Willoughby

Jackie J. Willoughby, 51, of New Philadelphia, died Thursday, Sept 2, 2004, in Hennis Care & Assisted Living Centre, Dover, following a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Born Mar. 30, 1953, in Prewitt, New Mexico, she was a daughter of Jack Bost of Albuquerque, and the late Eula LeMance Bost. Jackie graduated high school in New Mexico, and moved to Ohio in 1984. Before her illness, she was a salesperson for Strasburg Provision, and a custodian for the Tuscarawas County Health Department.

Jackie was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, New Philadelphia. She adored her grandchildren, and looked forward to traveling west to visit them. Among her favorite pastimes were reading and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Geoffrey L. Willoughby, whom she married November 8, 1983, in Farmington, New Mexico; two sons, Johnny (BeeBee) Wickets of Reserve, New Mexico, and Jesse (Tamara) Wickets of Albuquerque; a step-son, Geoffrey (fiance, Jeanine) Willoughby of San Diego; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Jeri (Vernie) Hill of Aztec, New Mexico, and Jan (Lyle) Allison of Farmington; two brothers, Lloyd (Shawna) Bost of Everson, Washington, and Danny (Judy) Bost of Albuquerque; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Bost.

A service celebrating Jackie�(TM)s life will be held Tuesday, September 7, at 11 a.m., in the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home, 246 E. High Ave., New Philadelphia. Pastor Dode Overton of the New Life Church of God, Dover, will officiate. Burial will be in Ridgecrest Memory Gardens, Dover. Following the committal, there will be a reception in the Toland-Herzig Monarch Center, 831 Boulevard, Dover.
