James L. Cumpston

James L. Cumpston, 83, of New Philadelphia died Monday, May 26, 2014 in the Community Hospice House.

Born August 15, 1930 in Morgantown, West Virginia he was a son of the late George and Dorothy Ferguson Cumpston. James was also preceded in death by his daughter, Pat Fouts; great granddaughter, Cassandra and brother, Dale Cumpston.

James retired in 1988 from the Carpenters Local 69 in Canton after many years of service. He was also an avid NASCAR fan.

James will be sadly missed by his grandchildren, Sherry (Jimmy) Todd and Brian (Rachel) Fouts; great grandchildren, Ashlee, Riley and Audrey and his son in law, Dan Fouts.

Graveside services will be held in Mt. Morris Pennsylvania. The Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory at Dover is handling arrangements. Those wishing to express their fondest memories of James may do so by visiting the on line obituaries and flowers link on the funeral homes website.
