Jane Brugger

Jane Brugger, 91, of Dover passed away on Thursday, November 24, 2016 at the Community Hospice House in New Philadelphia.

Born on December 30, 1924 in Canton, she was the daughter of the late William "Clayton" and Ella (Thiessen) Russell. She was a 1942 graduate of McKinley High School and later graduated from Aultman School of Nursing in 1947. She was a Registered Nurse for both Aultman Hospital and Union Hospital for many years.

Jane married Wade Brugger, who preceded her in death on February 17, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her brother; Robert J. Russell; and nephew, Marc Russell.
Jane enjoyed birdwatching. She loved her dogs. She bred and showed border collies and was also a talented dog trainer.

She will be sadly missed by her brother; Richard W. Russell of Canton; two nieces, Michelle (Mike) Russell- Conkle of Massillon, Cindy Brugger of Dover; nephew, Robert J. (Laurie) Russell II of Uniontown; along with many friends and neighbors.
