Jane D. Leuck, age 85, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away there April 28, 2018.
Born March 14, 1933, in Dover, she was a daughter of the late Frederick and Mayme Jones Thomson. Jane attended Dover High School, and, on September 2, 1950 married William F. “Bill” Leuck. The couple reared seven children and shared thirty-five years of marriage prior to Bill’s passing on January 17, 1986.
Jane was a loving wife, mother and and grandmother - a devoted homemaker, who enjoyed cooking, gardening and entertaining.
Survivors include her children, Jim (Candace) Leuck of Anderson, SC, Mary Jane (Sam) Parris of Greer, SC, John Leuck of Charleston, SC, Tom (Diane Parker) Leuck of Gaffney, SC, Jackie (Dean) Lang, Jill (Jack) Jarrell and Jennifer (Robby) Cummings, all of Summerville, SC; her grandchildren, Natalie Carn, Glenn, Perri, April, Phillip and Jarrod Leuck, Todd Parris, Kristine Meetze, Ashley Sellars, Jace Jarrell, Jacob and Branden Cummings, Alyssa Rodriguez, Mary Million,Tara Gunn, Katie Burris and Jason Parker; and her sixteen great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, and her husband, Bill, Jane was preceded in death by her brothers, Jack and Raymond Thomson.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Friday, May 4, 1 - 2 p.m. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Dover Burial Park; Pastor David St. Aubin of Dover’s First United Methodist Church will officiate.
